I’ve had a mixture of regret and thankfulness over the last month or so as my birthday approached.
The regrets have mostly to do with not loving well, especially with our family. I wish I knew 25 years ago what I know now! I have been trying to better demonstrate love to my wife and kids.
I’m thankful for the blessings of my wife and family, being able to serve with CCC for 26 years, for so many friendships, health, etc.
Mostly I’m thankful for the grace of God and the gospel that covers all of my shortcomings!
The Scooter
Much to Dayna's chagrin, I told her I wanted a scooter for my birthday. Not an electric scooter or a Vespa, but a kick scooter. Hey, it is cheaper than a car or motorcycle!
We got Macy a Scooter for Christmas and she has been scooting all over every day. It looked fun! I looked online and found they made adult sized scooters, so I made my desire known! I wanted to be able to scoot around with Macy.
It was actually Catelin, Cara, and her fiance Perry, who chipped in together to buy me the scooter! Macy and I taken several trips around the neighborhood and I hope to scoot to the grocery store with a backpack for some milk soon.
When we had Macy 8 years ago I realized I had better take care of myself so I could stay "young" with her, so I hope this helps. I'll add more pictures later.
Do you have a scooter?
